White Label CRM with a custom domain: what “your brand” should include

A white-label CRM custom domain puts a branded address, such as app.youragency.com, in front of clients. It changes the visible URL but does not by itself establish complete branding, source-code ownership or control over the vendor’s underlying hosting and software.

Check the whole client journey, including login, password resets, notification emails and help links. Confirm who configures DNS and certificates, then assess those responsibilities separately from the software license so a branded address does not obscure the operating model you are buying.

What a custom domain changes

Instead of sending clients to the CRM vendor’s URL, a platform can load at an address such as app.youragency.com. Current white-label platforms commonly combine this with your logo, colors and branded login experience.

Check the entire client journey

Inspect login pages, password-reset emails, notification senders, help links, mobile experiences, invoices and any “powered by” labels. A custom domain can look convincing until a system email exposes the upstream vendor.

DNS and SSL

Hosted platforms typically ask you to create a DNS record pointing a subdomain toward their service and then handle TLS/SSL. Self-hosted/source-code products can give you more deployment control, but your team becomes responsible for configuring the application and infrastructure correctly.

Do not confuse domain control with code ownership

A CRM running at your domain can still be rented SaaS. If ownership matters, evaluate the software license and deployment model separately. Read our CRM ownership guide →
